The Profile Analysis
Profile
Plus Questionnaire provides individually analysed insight into how
people see themselves. It is not a test but a self administered, validated
and reliable behavioural profiling instrument that allows us to identify
how people see themselves, how they perceive others see them and how thay
may behave under stress.
It accurately provides an understanding of an individual's internal and
external motivation, their behavioural traits, role expectations and how
well they are likely to fit a particular job and the environment they
have to work within.
Such questions as:
• How well does the subject communicate?
• In what areas will he/she be
most productive?
• Is he/she a self starter?
• Will the subject conform to
the Company Culture?
• What motivates this person?
• What training will be required?
• Could this person be promoted?
• What level of Energy and Drive
does the subject show?
• Is the subject capable of mature
and reasonable business judgement?
Administration
Part 1 > This is completed by the
Position Manager to enable us to get an accurate idea of your requirements
as well as some detail relating to the description of the job. As much
additional information as possible should be given - Please make sure
to give us the estimated or actual age and the sex of the applicant.
Part 2 > The subject completes this.
Inform them that they MUST make a Most and Least
choice on each of the 24 sets. There is no time limit, it should
take no longer than 5 to 6 minutes, and they should not ponder too long.
The subject should respond from the perspective of what they might think
is their normal behaviour. Check that each of the 24 has been marked,
once for Most and once for Least.
Part 3 > The subject also completes
this section and should treat it as a two-part exercise. They should
consider the top half of the page and mark (x) all of those words that
they would use to describe themselves. They should then do the same exercise
at the bottom half of the page and mark (x) those words that they think
other people would use to describe their behaviour. Again, there
is no time limit nor any minimum or maximum number of responses. However,
normally we would expect responses to be between 25%-70%. They
should not ponder too long and and should only take about 5 minutes.
Part 4 > The subject ranks, from 1
to 6, those 6 criteria they believe applies to the job, as they understand
it. The Position Manager then completes his assessment in the right hand
column. 1 is the most important.
